2025年9月，我校举行2025-2026学年度外教大会。随着学校的蓬勃发展与教育教学专业的不断精进，中外教交流合作更为紧密。本次会议基于“和而不同”的外教管理文化，以“专业与融合”为主题展开。
In September 2025, 21CS held the Foreign Teacher Conference for the 2025-2026 academic year. With the vigorous development of our school and the continuous advancement in our teaching, collaboration and communication between Chinese and foreign teachers have become closer and closer. Guided by the philosophy of "harmony in diversity", the conference was held with the theme of "Professionalism and Integration".
新学年新起点，在本次外教大会上，依次举行了中外方外教主管聘任仪式、备课组长聘任仪式、新入职外教欢迎仪式与“青蓝结对导师聘任仪式。目前，我校外教队伍人员趋于稳定，本学年仅有5位新外教加入21世纪大家庭。在开学的短短3周内，他们快速融入团队、以热忱专业的状态走向讲台，开启自己的21世纪教师之旅！相信在外教管理团队、备课团队以及青蓝结对项目的帮助和引领下，新教师与团队会更好地融合在一起，取得更为迅猛的提升！
The conference featured several key events: the appointment ceremonies for both Chinese and foreign teachers’ management directors and curriculum group leaders, and a warm welcome for newly joined foreign teachers, as well as the launch of the "Mentorship Program". With only five new foreign teachers joining 21CS this academic year, our foreign team becomes stabler. Within just three weeks after the start of this academic year, they have quickly integrated into the team and have taught with enthusiasm and professionalism, embarking on their teaching journey at 21CS! With the support and guidance of our management team, curriculum groups, and the mentorship program, they are expected to integrate smoothly and make rapid progress.
New Goals
新学年新目标，本次外教大会上，各学部外教团队进行了工作计划的汇报。
During the conference, foreign teachers from each department presented their work plans.
小学部新聘任的中方主管Vivian Hou以“专业”与“创新”为核心发言，本学年在常规工作方面将优化英语角、STEAM课程与听课活动，重点推动课堂从“教师主导”转向“学生主导”，关注学生个性化学习需求；在专业创新层面，将启动“21世纪之声”精英英语社团，组织学生参与英语竞赛、制作短视频，后续拟邀请更多外教助力。在融合方面，Vivian指出当前中外教沟通存在壁垒，强调将借助翻译工具、鼓励直接交流等方式破除障碍，目标缩小双方差距，期待新学年共同协作。
Vivian Hou, the newly appointed Chinese director of the Primary School Department, emphasized "professionalism" and "innovation" in her speech. During this academic year, the routine tasks of the Primary School Department will include optimizing English corners, STEAM courses, and class observation activities, with a focus on shifting from "teacher-led" to "student-led" classes to better meet the individualized learning needs of students. As for innovation, the department will launch a series of activities, including "Voice of 21CS" English club, getting more students involved in English competitions, and short video projects. In the future, more foreign teachers will be invited to offer assistance. Regarding integration, Vivian highlighted existing communication barriers between Chinese and foreign teachers and put forward the idea of using translation tools to bridge the gap and encourage direct communication, thus fostering closer collaboration in the new academic year.
初中部备课组长Eric强调初中部工作重点将会放在加强三年课程体系与高一的衔接，完善横向教学目标联系，并通过每两周的中外教同步教学实现内容复现与强化。
Eric, the leader of the curriculum groups from the Middle School Department, emphasized that the focus of the department this year would be strengthening the link between the three-year curriculum system and the high school freshman year, improving the integrity of teaching objectives over different subjects, and ensuring content reinforcement through biweekly teaching among Chinese and foreign teachers.
高中部外方主管Joseph表示高中部将聚焦课堂优化与学生个性化引导，涵盖通过听评课提升教学质量、优化课程、助力学生文书写作与申请、组织学术活动和竞赛，以及通过各类工作坊促进教师专业发展等任务。
Joseph, the foreign director of the High School Department, outlined plans to optimize class designs and provide personalized guidance for students. Key tasks include improving teaching quality through observations and evaluations, refining courses, assisting students with essay writing and university applications, organizing academic activities and competitions, and offering professional workshops for all teachers to reach better development.

New Reforms
新学年新改革，本次外教大会上，以“从教走向学”为主题，三个学部分别做了优秀教学经验分享。
Under the theme of "From Teaching to Learning", different departments all shared outstanding teaching experiences.
小学部 Bello 基于“从教走向学”的核心原则、实施策略、带给学生的好处以及团队成员实际上课应用的例子以及所面临的挑战五个维度为我们带来了幽默诙谐的分享，并在分享过程中与台下的外教们互动，让大家真切地感受以学生为中心的课堂会提升学生的课堂参与积极性！
Bello from the Primary School Department delivered a humorous and interactive presentation covering five dimensions: core principles, implementation strategies, benefits for students, examples, and challenges. His engagement with the audience demonstrated how student-centered classes boost their participation.
初中部 Alex 从理论层面强调构建学生自主探究、教师个性化支持与真实评估的学习环境，并通过多模态教学实例培养学生内在动力与学习满足感。
Alex from the Middle School Department emphasized that it’s important to create a learning environment that fosters students’ autonomy, personalizes teachers’ support, and brings authentic assessments. He illustrated how multimodal teaching methods cultivate students’ learning motivation and satisfaction with gaining knowledge.
高中部William强调 “从教学到学习” 的具体转变，倡导以学生为中心的课堂、教学中的战略性灵活处理以及实用技能培养，做到以学生为先、因势利导，确保学生学有所获。
William from the High School Department highlighted the concrete shift "from teaching to learning", advocating for student-centered classes, strategic flexibility in teaching, and practical skill development. By putting students first and providing personalized guidance, we can ensure every student benefits.
New Progress
新学年新进步，本次大会还对外教工作进行了满意度调研问卷反馈与分析。从今年起，调整为每学年末开展。
The conference also included feedback and analysis with the help of a foreign teachers’ satisfaction survey. Starting this year, the survey will be conducted at the end of each academic year.
人事部郭瑜主任进行了整体数据回顾，主要覆盖行政部门：人事部、工会、信息中心、保卫处和总务部。并针对外教留言和建议反馈较多的项目给予了详细说明和下一步改进措施。
同时，总务部作为后勤保障的大后方，与外教团队在校的工作与住宿生活更为紧密，因此我们也邀请到总务部王里君主任单独就总务部核心服务项目：食堂、咖啡、水果、设备维修和校内公寓等方面进行了专业的解答和优化具体方案。
Given the close interaction between the General Affairs Department and the foreign teachers’ work and accommodation, Director Wang Lijun from the GA Department was invited to elaborate on key services, including the cafeteria, coffee and fruit supply, equipment maintenance, and dormitory accommodations. Director Wang provided professional solutions and optimization plans.
此外，我们也温馨提示每一位外教在中国工作生活期间需要遵守中国法律、尊重中国文化，关注自己护照、工作签证等个人信息的有效性，照顾好自己的人身安全，幸福平安地在中国工作生活！
Additionally, all foreign teachers were kindly reminded to comply with Chinese laws, respect our local culture, ensure the validity of their passports and work visas, and prioritize their safety and well-being while working and living in China.
Principal's Address
最后，范胜武校长进行了大会总结性发言：范校长对外教团队不断精进的教学专业能力给予高度肯定和称赞！同时也代表学校承诺为外教提供最强大的支持和保障！期望中外教更好地融合，形成一支团结、知识渊博的团队，在中国文化的感染下成就自己的教师生涯！与学校双向奔赴，为21世纪学子提供最优质的教育！
At the end of the Conference, Principal Fan Shengwu delivered the concluding speech. Principal Fan highly approved the continuous pursuit of teaching excellence among foreign teachers. On behalf of the school, he pledged unwavering support. He expressed hope for deeper integration between Chinese and foreign teachers. He hoped that foreign teachers could form a united and knowledgeable team inspired by Chinese culture to achieve professional fulfillment. Together, they will provide education with the highest quality for our students, fostering a mutually rewarding partnership with 21CS!
